Paris, weather and renting a car

Hello, we are going to be Paris from August 17th to 29th, and on 24th we%26#39;ll rent a car and go to Mont Saint Michel and next day to the Loire Valley, and come back to Paris the night of 26th.

My first question is about the weather, we have been watching some reports and it seems it will probably rain from Monday 20th to Thusday 23th, will the weather be that bad??? I hope it won%26#39;t rain during the whole four days...

The other question is about renting the car. We have reserved a car for the Mont Saint Michel and Loire Valley trip, and we will take it at Orly Airport, what do you think about it? I didn%26#39;t want to drive from and to the city centre with the car so we thought about the airport, but we are not totally sure is the best option. There would be, in your opinion, another beter option? I mean an office not right in the centre, but accessible using the metro.

well i think weather will be nice from 20 to 24, but have a look on :

About the car, you ask about another possibility and you say that the car is booked, a bit difficult to change, no ?

Now about the car, why don%26#39;t you take the TGV from Paris Montparnasse to Tours (Loire Valley) rent a car, visit a castle or more, go to Mont st Michel then back to Tours, TGV to Paris ....
