We are going to be staying at one of disneyland%26#39;s hotels, can anyone recommend any indian restaurants and takeaways nearby. Many thanks

I don%26#39;t know of any, but don%26#39;t be disappointed if you don%26#39;t find any. The French are not big on Indian Cuisine - they tend to stick with French Gastronomy (oddly unadventurous don%26#39;t you think?)

A couple of years ago there was a TV programme - %26#39;A Place In France%26#39; where daft Nigel and his chum, Indian Restauranteur Reza tried to open an Indian Restaurant in the Provence area for the summer season. They put in much effort, and the place looked great, but alas the venture was a resounding flop!

this link takes you to a site that tells you all about the programme anyway, and Nigel%26#39;s restaurant in the ARDECHE (sorry not Provence!)

The French are not big on Indian. I have seen the odd Indian restaurant in large cities.

French chefs are starting to use curry powder in certain dishes but have yet to grasp the finer points of the spices.

And even if you do manage to find an Indian Restaurant in France (there are a few), by British curry house standards the food is very mild. No amount of asking for it to be hotter when you order seems to make any difference.
