discount for non-residents over 60 years in France

Hi all !

Could the non-residents of France use any discount programme travelling by train or bus there?

The fare discounts usually require the production of the relevant French Carte de Senior - not someone just claiming to be over sixty.

There is a France Senior pass for rail travel which does not require EU i.d. raileurope.com/us/…france_seniorpass.htm
