Best buy in Paris

Hi everyone,

Can you all tell me what was the best buy you have ever made in Paris?

I love shopping but also love to get bargains.....but your best buy does not have to be a bargain... it would just be nice to see what people think are best buys in Paris.

One of my best buys was a six euro scarf, bought from one of the tourist shops on the way from Anvers station to Sacre Coeur - it%26#39;s the road that everyone walks up - you can%26#39;t miss it.

I get so many compliments about that scarf that on my return trips I have bought several for friends.!!!

also, shoes, shoes, shoes, from the cheap stores in the stations, in the 4th, in unexpected shops - yep, they%26#39;re cheapies but they are DIFFERENT to what everyone else is wearing......

and...jumpers, jumpers, from rue d%26#39;aboukir in the 2nd. Wholesalers that sell single items for less than 25 euros. Again, cheapies, but so stylish and different!

and...a brooch for 7,50 euros that I found in a market - in amongst meat, fish and cheese stalls was a clothing shop (go figure!) and in the window was this brooch. Just bought it - always gets complimented. Again, something very different and totally priceless!..
