Hi All,
I am in the middle of planning a Honeymoon trip in February that will take me from Italy to Paris (Paris being the surprise ending to the trip). We will be there for 2 days, with the last night being February 14th - and we all know what day that is.
Can anyone share a recommendation on a nice romantic place to have dinner? I know, I know... Paris is full of hundreds of them. Unfortunately, I don%26#39;t have unlimited time to hit all of them. My idea/plan is to get to Paris, spend day 1 and part of day 2 seeing the main sights you would go see... and then on Valentine%26#39;s night having a wonderful dinner before leaving for the state%26#39;s the next morning.
Romantic can be whatever you see it as - an incredible view of the Tower, the river, the city skyline from a restaurant atop a building... a small corner place that has few tables but fabulous atmosphere with music and wine... or just out of this world food. I am open to suggestions. It%26#39;s a 1-shot chance to put a romantic close on a once in a lifetime trip.
Thanks in advance for helping me put together a great ending to my Honeymoon.

Any of the hotels with a view would be great, but as it%26#39;s Valentine%26#39;s Day I think it might be difficult to guarantee a window seat.
For absolute luxury, amazing service and decadence, Le Cinq is a sure bet. If you want somewhere with amazing food then L%26#39;Arpege, though the atmosphere is a little more rarified than Le Cinq, and the price is about 30% more too.

Hi there ....
Something you ahve to know ... on february 14 ...ALL restaurants of Paris are full ... its a bit less romantic than usual ...
Anyway ... Paris is the msot romantic city in the world and I would recommand ... a cruise dinner at yacht deParis http://www.yachtsdeparis.fr/nos_bateaux.html
sure it will be expensive (expect no less than 200 euros per person) ...
but is really something %26lt;orthwhile to do once in a lifetime

My partner and I had our honeymoon in Paris and we had a AMAZING blow-out meal on our last evening in a Michelin recommended (although not %26#39;starred%26#39;) place called Macéo.
The food was fantastic, very original and breathtakingly good. Lovely wine, lovely service and a very pleasant atmosphere.
It is in the 1er arrondissment and you can find out more at the website:

Hope you find somewhere.

Riotstar: Thank you!
Maceo looks fantastic! We are always looking for romantic dining...This looks like a gorgeous place with magnificent food at moderate prices!
Can%26#39;t wait to try it next month!

If you can reserve a table by a window, TourD%26#39;Argent would more than fill the bill for romantic - The restaurant overlooks Notre Dame and the view is magnificent - The restaurant is possibly a bit over rated but is an experience that you remember. The food and service are good, with a traditional gourmet feel and an empahsis on duck (with a souvenier post card ). Call them early and let them know your requirements (be sure to stress the honeymoon angle)
Jules Verne in the Eiffel Tower is also home of a gorgeous view (Not sure when they will be reopening- they are renovating )
The boat cruises are ok -not the best choice in my opinion.

Maceo is very good and a spacious restaurant which is great for romantic conversations.
La Tour d%26#39;Argent is a good recommendation too with fabulous views of Notre Dame and the river.
Recently I went to les Ombres, it has good views of the Eiffel Tower.
Jules Verne at the Tower is an other option.
And check out les Elysees du Vernet in hotel Vernet. It is such a beautiful restaurant. I only had good experiences there.
I would not do a dinner cruise in February, it is too cold by the Seine.

Some may say it%26#39;s too touristy but i would go for Jules Verne in the tower. Best views of the city. Try to time your seating by getting there before sunset but dining while the sun sets. You%26#39;ll enjoy %26quot;the city of lights%26quot;. You%26#39;ll need to book WAY in advance.

Jules Verne will only take reservations 60 days in advance, by fax or phone. Beautiful service and food. Very attentive but yet not intrusive. And how could one ever forget a honeymoon dinner right in the Eiffel Tower??
But actually, if you had a baguette in a park (too cold in Feb) how could you forget a honeymoon in paris?
congrats and have a wonderful time.
