Leaving for honeymoon in 5 days....airport transfer question

Hello...

We are so excited to be going to Paris for our honeymoon!!!! We arrive in Paris on Monday August 13th @ 9:45am. I would love some suggestions on a relatively inexpensive way to get to our apartment on Ile St. Louis (4 quai d%26#39;orleans) from CDG. Do you think we should just hop in a taxi or is there a bus that would bring us close to our apartment and be a little cheaper I assume. We would rather not take the metro with our luggage. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Do yourself a favor and take a taxi. The convenience more than makes up for any added expense. You will be tired from a long overnight flight, with (maybe) not much sleep. You will have luggage. It will be heavier still because you%26#39;re tired. If you were very familiar with the city, then maybe you could try a bus or the Metro. The first time, you will probably be happier with a cab. There are shuttle services, but many have received a lot of bad press. I wouldn%26#39;t take the chance. It will likely be 40-60E depending on traffic.

Agreed about the taxi, particularly if it%26#39;s your first trip to Paris. In the larger scheme of things, the 25€ or so you%26#39;d save is not a not of money (assuming that you%26#39;d catch a cab from the bus terminus).

And congratulations!
