Just wondering if they are plentiful and not outrageously expensive, we are staying 4km from the centre of St Tropez..

i%26#39;m pretty sure there are NO taxis. you will see taxi stands but taxis never come! we stayed at a hotel (la messardierre) that provided a shuttle into town and we were totally mystified how people get around if a hotel doesn%26#39;t provide a shuttle.
there seemed to be plenty of spaces for rental cars at the beach clubs, but in town parking appeared to be a nightmare!

i suggest you walk, excellent excercise before the dinner and/or the fun .... Anyway, if you go to St Trop, better have money in your pocket
