Traveling to Marseilles with my brother in December and need a hotel for one night before driving north. Nothing fancy, nothing shady--just a solid place to stay to begin our trip. Will be our first time to France, so looking for someplace that will leave us with a good first impression AND still leave us with money in our pockets. Thoughts?

We stayed in Marseille last x-mas, at the Citea Prado Perrier.
The hotel is not fancy and not expensive. Small rooms, but clean, well equiped and relatively central location
