Experiences with www.parisperfect.com?

Hi everyone,

DH and I are thinking about a London/Paris trip in July. It would be my 3rd trip to Paris and his first. It would be a 1st time to London for both of us.

How have your experiences with Paris Perfect been? They have 2 apts. open for my dates (Pomerol and Fleurie). Has anyone stayed in either of these? The e-mail contact I%26#39;ve had with them so far has been excellent, very timely and professional. I%26#39;m just wondering how other people found this company and their apartments. They have AC, which we definitely need!

Also, how is the 7th Arr. compared to the 5th? I just stayed in the 5th with my family and loved it, and I%26#39;m wondering how the 7th compares. OK, thanks in advance for anyone%26#39;s help :)

Can anyone help me with this? Thanks....

Have you tried doing a %26#39;search%26#39;? I know perfectlyparis has got quite a few mentions on this forum.

As for the 7th, I find it too %26#39;sedate%26#39; for me (and we%26#39;re in our 50%26#39;s.) Others here love it however. But if you %26#39;loved%26#39; the 5th, you may find the 7th too %26#39;residential%26#39; and quiet at night. You%26#39;d find the 1st, 4th, 5th and 6th more %26#39;lively%26#39;.

Hi...wish i could help you more but i won%26#39;t be staying in my parisperfect apartment(St. Emilion) till April. I found out about the company by reading all the tripadvisor comments. We have been to Paris several times before and wanted to experience an upscale neighborhood and be able to shop and cook some of our meals. Their website was great and the views to die for. So far all our contact with the owners has been very professional. Will you be staying in a Londonperfect apartment?

My husband and I stayed in the Montrachet apartment for our honeymoon last June. We thought the apartment was great (although a bit small) and the service was as advertised. Booking was no problem, and when we arrived in Paris, we called the number we were given and were met at the apartment by an English speaking young woman who let us in and showed us around. We had no problems with the apartment while we were there. Everything worked perfectly. I loved the expresso machine that was there so much that I bought the same one when I got back home.

I actually thought our neighborhood was wonderful. I was slightly concerned that we%26#39;d be in the middle of nowhere after reading some reviews of the 7th. However, where we were located (Rue St. Dominique) there were numerous restaurants, 3 bakeries on our block, two grocery stores within a short distance, with the Eifel Tower around the corner. It%26#39;s true that there%26#39;s not the same nightlife as in some of the other neighborhoods, but if you%26#39;re not going to be out late at night going to bars or clubs, you probably don%26#39;t need to stay in those places. Honestly, we were too exhausted by the end of our sightseeing and late night dinners to even think about hanging out in a club, or staying up past 11:00.

That being said, if you really love the vibe of the 5th, then you may not like the 7th because it%26#39;s completely different.

We love Parisperfect! We stayed in the Beaujolis apt in Aug/Sept 2005 and had a great stay. Sevice is great - both email and in person. This was our first trip to Paris and we loved the 7th. We are in our mid 30%26#39;s and enjoy nightlife. The 7th is definitely not as much of a party as the 5th and 6th, but is so close to the other arr. Also there is a great little pub called O%26#39;Briens where we stopped for our nightcap. Personally I liked that after a day of sighseeing and sometimes sensory overload we would venture back to the 7th for some quiet.

We stayed at the Fleurie apartment last week and loved it! The folks at Paris Perfect could not have been nicer and more professional. The apartment was larger and nicer than what was presented in the photos. The 7th was ideal for our family and the views of the Eiffel Tower were unbelievable - the twinkling at night was our children%26#39;s night light. What an amazing memory for them!
