I need some help.
I arrive in Marseille Airport at 9-25 AM on Sunday 23 Sept and am interested in info on the trains from Saint-Charles Rail Station in Marseille to Montpellier. Is it doable in a 2 hours? Details please. See u at the game. Game starts at 3-00 pm.

You should just make it depending on schedules. I will be at the match as well (former FIji resident, now in France, yank) - where are you staying in Montpellier?

I think you might be struggling.
Problem is that on Sunday mornings/early afternoon there are not many trains!
There is an 1153 Marseilles to Montpellier but a helpful footnote says it does operate between 9th September and 26th October! The only train before that is 5 minutes before your flight lands.
The 1254 from Marseilles to Montpellier gets you there at 1424 just in time maybe but again a helpful note states that this schedule is subject to alteration on certain days without actually saying what these are! It doesn%26#39;t show up on a timetable search specifically for 23rd September.
The final alternatives involve a change of train and will get you to Montpellier at 1425:
Local train Marseilles to Avignon 1129 arrives 1241; local train Avignon to Montpellier 1322 arrives at 1425 - just in time.
Or Marseilles to Nimes at 1212 change at Nimes also arrive at Montpellier at 1425
Looks like your running shoes will be needed to get from station to stadium.
