villeneuve loubet, near Nice--travel

Can someone spell that out phonetically for me so that I don%26#39;t sound too moronic when I bastardize the name? Two groups of us will be meeting there at Residence Vacanes No. 1 at the Marina Baie des Anges (anyone know the place? it%26#39;s a timeshare exchange); one party will come from the Nice airport, and the other will come from the Villeneuve Loubet train station. Can anyone recommend the best way to get to the Residence from these two places...luggage and a days travel behind will make buses seem cumbersome. All the research, though, says that the bus and train transport is convenient--true? Is taxi service from the airport in Nice and the train station in VL very expensive? Any advice for not-too-be-missed day trips? With all the history imbued in the towns and buildings, it seems sacriligious to care about the lavender fields, but being a serious gardener, that matters to me--mid-Sept.--a good time for lavender fields? thanks for any feedback!

No lavender fields in September, they bloom in June or July.

There are none in Villeneuve Loubet. Think of high rise buildings in Marina Baie des Anges.

Thanks so much for your response...only a moment%26#39;s dejection to hear about the lack of lavender fields. I%26#39;ll survive--plenty else to appreciate in addition to that. Somehow, when one stays in a high-rise timeshare, it belies the appreciation of the finer things--we who stay there, though, find timeshare to be ok--allows us spend less time lounging in our hotel. Any suggestions for the not-to-be-missed villages, restaurants, museums, side trips? Transportation to the Marina from the airport and train station?
