Have not been to le Touquet before and want to make the most of it and the surrounding area , recommendations of places to eat things to do would be appreciated, travelling by car with my father [he cannot walk very far].

Le Touquet is/was an upmarket beach resort.

From Calais, it%26#39;s best to go onto the Peagé (toll road) after Boulogne. It isn%26#39;t far. Parking can be difficult in town and you can try the beach area which has ample (pay) parking. Lots of little streets in the main town which unfortunately require walking. You%26#39;ll find a number of eateries in town.
