I am now thinking about getting the train from Nice airport to Cannes.
Am I right in saying theres a station right next to the airport (St. Augustin) that will go direct to Cannes train station, which happens to be very close to my hotel the Renoir?
This seems far easier and faster than the 210 bus.
Thanks

%26quot;Right next to%26quot; is stretching it a bit - exit the airport Terminal 1 - if T2 go between the two by via the free navette - and then a half km walk by underpasses and over busy roads and around the Arenas Office complex. to Nice St Augustin.
A connection for the more adventurous but yes it is do-able Whether its %26quot;easier%26quot; is debatable - get on at airport get of in Cannes sounds fairly easy to me.

Hello again!
If you read the post started by Starkraving on18th July, you%26#39;ll find more information including some very useful tips he contributed after trying out the train option.
We%26#39;ve used both the 210 and the train, and think the train is a good bet (unless there%26#39;s a strike on at the time)- quicker, cheaper and more scenic than the express bus. Sometimes short delays though, and you have to find your way to the station from the airport.
It%26#39;s a 10 minute or so walk to Nice St Augustin station from Terminal 1 at the airport. There are links to directions on the post mentioned above. You can also pick up a route diagram with directions and train times from the information desk inside the airport- it%26#39;s not too difficult but there aren%26#39;t any good signposts.
As you say ,your hotel is closer to the rail station than the bus station, so you just need to decide at which end you prefer to walk further...
Have a great trip
