Hello, my girlfriend and I are travelling to Paris in a week, and we are going to stay therre for 12 days, being visiting Mont Saint Michel and the Lorey Valley for three days.
We are from Spain, and we wanted to buy the Carte orange pass for a week, but I have read somewhere that is only for Parisians and that, if a rer inspector asks us for our tickets, he will mulct us.
Is that true? Has someone ever heard anything about it?
Thanks a lot.

Hello,
Carte Orange is available to anyone willing to pay the E16 from agents at any Metro station and is good for one week beginning each Monday. You will get a ticket, an orange card for you to place your personal information and photo, and a handy silver plastic wallet. Print out passport-size photos of each of you and bring them to stick on your cards. Tickets honored in central Paris on all RER, Metro and buses. Take them back with you to remember your travels.
rer inspectors are no longer allowed to mulct passengers. Cheers!
