Paris accommodation self catering option available ?

Looking for accommodation in Paris late September /early October 2007 for 1 week– one bedroom only required - would like to be relatively central,mid-range price maximum, does not have to be flash but comfortable.

Anyone know of any self catering accommodation in Paris that is good?

I don%26#39;t know where Phil gets the %26quot;most of people%26quot; claim about VIP but Phil clearly is a fan of that agency and one flat in St Andre des Arts in particular that he has stayed in (No 122 but I assume it is booked in that period) and I have not read bad reports on VIP (which is based in the US apparently).

However, there are many good rental agencies in Paris. One I had a very good experience with for my two week stay last October is

which is based in Paris and will take credit cards.

It has an availability search for dates and I tried 27 September to 4 October as a test and came up with a lot of free apartments for that particular period. Note that a lot of apartments for 2 people will be studio apartments but the one I had in the 5th had a separated sleeping area and lots of living room space so the lack of a wall to the bedroom was not a problem.

It is true that your chosen period is very busy this year with all the usual trade shows and just peak period traffic plus the World Rugby so book ASAP.
