Vendettes on July 14

We are planning to take the 10:30pm boat (Vendettes de Pont Neuf) on July 14, after a long day at Versailles. Does anyone know how early we need to arrive at the entry point? Is there a chance it will sell out? Can we buy tickets earlier in the evening for the 10:30 ride? Thanks for any info!

We arrived at 8:45 pm hoping for a 9:30 pm trip; it was sold out. So, we got on the 10:00 pm trip. You can use that as a guideline. You can also book online:

Do you realise that this is Bastille Day? Don%26#39;t know if or how this will effect things. I would think that Paris will be very busy.

I do realize it%26#39;s Bastille Day - that%26#39;s why we%26#39;re doing Versailles that day! :) And, that%26#39;s also why we%26#39;d love to do the 10:30pm boat tour - so we can see the beautiful fireworks from the Seine! I will definitely look at booking online - I didn%26#39;t realize I could do that in advance. Thanks for the input!

Sorry to reply to my own post, but I just visited the Vendettes du Pont Neuf website. I see how to purchase tickets online, but the site doesn%26#39;t seem to allow for reserving a specific time slot. Does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks!

How did buying the ticket in advance work out for you, did you do it? We just bought our ticket and are wondering whether we can show up early in the day and %26quot;book%26quot; a particular time. We will be in Paris Aug 15-20.

i ended up only printing the discount coupons instead of actually purchasing the tickets themselves online. good thing, too, because we never ended up taking the cruise! we got a look at several of the boats while walking along the river one day and decided it wasn%26#39;t for us. we much preferred seeing the sites on foot! :)
