2 couples planning to travel to Bormes (or nearby?) week of Sept 8th -Sept 15 2007 and are curious about recopmmended places to stay. Will be local for the whole week enjoying Bormes atmosphere, sights and restaurants and beaches. Looking for prior travelers to offer ideas for our %26quot;2 star%26quot; budget . May plan on having rental car but if we can do without we don%26#39;t mind walking if a kew km makes the difference. Pool would be nice but not mandatory. More interested in clean ,comfortable, friendly, relaxing environment. Thanks in advance for any hints or recommendations K %26amp; M

We spent several days in the Hostellerie du Cigalou in Sept., 07. It is ideally located in the heart of the village rather than on the steep approach as is its%26#39; more expensive mother property and was brand new. Bormes Les Mimosas is probably our favorite town of all the coastal villages in this region of France, beautiful views from its heights, good restaurants to suit most budgets, and covered with flowers.
