Hotels (non Citadines- booked up) for traveling with infant?

We are trying to find a hotel (under 200.00 US/night) in the Latin Quarters/Marias area that would be good for traveling with a small child (14mo old).

Mainly my biggest concern is a room that will actually fit a crib/PnP. I am a bit overwhelmed at how many hotels are rated well, but I can%26#39;t get a feel for %26#39;small%26#39; room- and how small is small. I looked into the Citadines in the areas that interest us, both appear to be full- any other suggestions? We are coming 5 nights in September (10-15th).

Also, is arranging one night of babysitting out of the question? It is our anniversary and we wanted to have dinner at Maxim%26#39;s sans our daughter. Most hotels I emailed eluded that it could be arranged, but I am still a litlte iffy on how safe/easy this is. Any advice would be great.

thanks!

I havent been there but checked out the Lyon Mulhouse based on the reco from Rick Steves - and the rooms did look big. They only had rooms with 2 beds for 120 euros when I tried to book a single a few weeks ago for that same week... but I was looking for a longer period of time too so other rooms could be available.

its rated here.
