Can anyone help me navigate from Charles De Gaul airort to la Rochelle and then on to Il de Re

The French Rail website

is normally very good for answering this type of question, but asking it for details of trains from Roissy (i.e. CDG) to La Rochelle defeats it - it can%26#39;t find any trains.
So, you need to break the journey into stages.
Try asking the website for trains from Roissy to Poitiers. You will see several options, including a couple of TGVs a day that go direct, i.e. without having to change in Paris.
Then do a search on trains from Poitiers to La Rochelle. Again, there are several.
