Concert or sporting event schedules

Trying to find out if any concerts or football matches are scheduled in Nice from August 29 through September 3, or Monoco Sept 4-5.

I have checked the local tourist websites etc. but have not found any information.

Does anyone know of website I could access to determine if any special events are scheduled? Perhaps even a Ticketmaster or some such agency that handles ticketing etc?

Or as an alternative, the name of a stadium or concert venue I may be able to run a search on?

Thanks for any thoughts on how I flush this information out.

Palais Nikaia, Nice, is the BIG venue for international acts - go here

Monaco - its %26quot;Club Sporting%26quot; , but the big season will have been been and gone (Rod Stewart, Elton, Brian Ferry, whoever)

Thanks for the links; it does not appear that anything is scheduled during our time in Nice.

Let me ask the question another way- Is there an english language newspaper that might have a website that might have an entertainment section? Here in Chicago we have a special section on Fridays detailing upcoming events.

Can you suggest anything comparable?

You can find out the football fixtures of Nice and Monaco at

ogcnice.com and asm-fc.com,

if you dont speak french it is still quite easy to understand the lists but i think there is a translation button on the sites anyway.

Angloinfo.com generally has forward listings - its about the nearest thing in the Anglophone Riviera to a community website and car boot sale
