I am trying to decide between Cap Estel and Chev d%26#39;Or for a romantic gateaway with my Wife to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. My wife and I love the sea and the rooms on the Cap Estel site seem to be over the water with very private balconies, can anyone comment?
Also Chev d%26#39;Or looks amazing but being quite a way up the hill I worry we might feel a little disconected from the sea. Poor reviews for the food at Cap Estel but if we have a hire car I take it nice food can be had in the local vilages, again any advice would be appreciated.
This will be our first time to the French Riveria so not set on Eze it just seems quite well located and beautiful but any other suggestions would be well received.

I know very well both hotels and you have some difference but both are a good choice for wedding anniversary.
I don%26#39;t know when will you go there ?
chevre d%26#39;or are in the old village, you have to walk 5 for to reach your apartment.
Avoid standard or superior room because you will have a moutain view. So your budget will have about 600 euros per night in high season for a pretty room.
Chevre d%26#39;or have also a very good gastronomic restaurant (2 stars michelin), about 150 euros per person without wine.
As you will be at the village, the beach will be far.
Cap estel is the best hotel in the south of france, he is on the %26quot;presqu%26#39;île (on the beach).
It%26#39;s like a private small hotel but the property is huge (only 8 bedrooms and 12 suites (until 500 square meters and 15 000 euros per night in high season)%26quot;
You have a lot facilities free of charge (outdoor and indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, hamma,, sauna, fitness center, tennis, private beach...). So it%26#39;s the paradise.
All rooms have sea view but avoid may be superior room, take a deluxe room (try number 221 or series 6 (with view on the beach).
And if you have money, book junior suite %26quot;le parc%26quot;.
Both hotels are a good choice and you will need a car.
You have no other restaurant and shops near the Cap Estel but I recommend definitively this one.

This hotel you recommend, Cap Estel, is it better than going to Casadelmar in Corsica for a honeymoon? We have never been to France. Either way, we will go to Paris after. Thank you.
