Eiffel Tower postmark

Where in the Eiffel Tower does one go to obtain the postmark? Is it in the gift shop? Which level is it on?

You dont %26quot;obtain%26quot; the postmark. You post your letters in the box there (or at the post office - 1st floor) and the letters/cards will be stamped.

We were just there yesterday the post office is located between the toilettes and the gift shop on the first level (not the middle or top level) if you walk up the wait is much shorter...and only about 350 steps to that level...and not too bad if you pace yourself. the post office is open most of the day into the evening but i do not think real late at night

Are there stamp machines if the post office is closed? How much postage does a postcard require to U.S.A.? I%26#39;m assuming the box is available if the post office is closed?
