Decent Priced Restaurants Near The Eiffel Tower Area

After failing to get a table for 4 for the Altitude 95 for the 16th Aug.. Im on the prowl again for a good restaurant that wont leave me out of pocket.

I want it to be near the Eiffel Tower area because I%26#39;ll be doing the seine cruise later that night, so dont really want to walk much.

Im looking for an approx price between 20/40 Euro%26#39;s per person.

There are not many restaurants near the Eiffel Tower which sticks in the middle of nowhere. For restaurants you have to go to Ecole Militaire or Alma Marceau. Trocadero has a few and so do other areas in the 7th. Cafe Constant on rue Saint Dominique for example.

Might as well eat where you are and then go for the Seine cruise as most places in those areas tend to be on the expensive side.

I might add Le Bosquet to the list. Nice people, good food and a short walk to the Eiffel.

NOt far at all from the ET is Le P%26#39;tit Troquet, whose fixed menu is at about 30 euros per person. Excellent food and warm welcome. Reservations a must.

Le Florimond is not far either, and is excellent too. A bit more expensive, I think their fixed menu is 35 euros. Also, must reserve.

Cafe Constant is another good option, as la photographe has suggested.

I%26#39;ll mangle the name, but Le Fontaine de Mars is a great spot and not too far from Pont d%26#39;Alma if that%26#39;s where your cruise sails from.

Thanks for those who have replied so far!

Which of the restaurants mentioned above are good for a family of 4 (including 1 12 year old)?

Im still torn.. Im thinking I might just wing it and see whatever place I come across.. but Im not sure!

I%26#39;ll second the recommendation of Le P%26#39;tit Troquet. I%26#39;ve seen families in there often, so you won%26#39;t feel out of place. It%26#39;s a family-run restaurant, quite lovely and small, with a rustic feel, and excellent food for the price. Be sure to make reservations, though, walk-ins likely can%26#39;t be accommodated given its small size and its popularity.

I concur with most of the suggestions that have been made here. I think you are dreaming if you were thinking of Altitude 95 and €20/40 per person. Look at their Carte:

You would do much better at one of the more modest local places, particularly with kids.

You will have a wonderful time in Paris.
