I have been doing some research on the local bus system (Thanks to all the web links that have been provided in this forum).
My husband and I will be in Nice for 5 days early next month and the %26quot;Pass 7 Jour%26quot; seems to be an excellent bargain since we plan on taking the bus to and from the hotel and along the cost to visit some of the other towns.
I have a couple of questions for someone with more knowledge of the local buse system. Is the pass good for all buses on the Ligne d%26#39;azur or just for bus #98/99? Can you purchase this pass at the airport?
Thank you in advance for your assistance

normally yes, now you can take the airport bus 98 / 99 if you have a bus pass
but I don%26#39;t think they sell it at the airport
and in the bus, you can buy only a one way ticket 1,30 euro or a 1 day pass 4 euro
7 day pass only sold in shops and bus agency...

The Airport - Nice bus is an exception to the other local bus serices. The airport bus service is a special service and is not included in any weekly or other multi-passes. It is 4 Euro a ride, which is also a pass de jour good for only one day on any other local buses ie Lignes d%26#39;Azur.
The Multi-pass or 7 day passes are issued by Lignes d;%26#39;Azur, whose services are within Nice or its immediate city area only
People get confused because the buses which connect the main Riviera towns - the TAM (Trans Alppes Maritime) like the 100 Nice Menton - are nothing to do with Lignes d%26#39;Azur They will accept the Lignes d%26#39;Azur multipasses or pass 7 jour only within the narrow %26quot;Zone de tarrification%26quot; which is between Cagnes sur Mer and Cap d%26#39;Ail. Outside of that destinations - like Monaco or Cannes - you have to pay the TAM bus driver cash 1.30 - no multipass or 7 day - for the journey.
Basically there is no %26quot;travel as you please %26quot; weekly ticket. Once you understand the way the system works, you are one of a rare breed. Increase the medication immediately.
Cheers
