from Paris to Lourdes

Hi I too is having a problem with my trip to Lourdes. Please help me using your step by step guide using a train if possible or is it better to take the plane. Please tell me the nearest airport in Lourdes fcrom CDF. Thanks Esther

well very easy,

1.- train TGV from ParisMontparnasse to Lourdes, a bit long ...

go to www.voyages-sncf.com enter paris, departure date and time, then enter lourdes, return date and time, then you can purchase a PREMS ticket and print it or just have a lool on the schedule times.

2.- Flight from Charles de Gaulle to Pau with Air France, go to

www.airfrance.fr (same way as per the train9 then take a taxi to the railway station and take the train from Pau to Lourdes (about half an hour)

3.- Flight from Orly airport to Lourdes, but seems very expensive and you have to change the airport in Paris

Thanks so much Philpetrus for your help. At this stage we are driving from Paris to Lourdes with some stops on the way. Wwe don%26#39;t know how many days it will take us but if you can give us an idea as to what places to see along the way that would be so kind and generous of you.

Thanks, Marjorie8

Thats really a long drive just to spend a short time in Lourdes. As per my previous posts, you%26#39;re missing the point of Lourdes if you%26#39;re just going to pass through. If Lourdes is your priority, do yourself a favour and fly from Orly direct (1hr.15m) and spend 2 or 3 nights there. There are flights available for around E160 return, which is not much different than the trains. (51/2 hours). If you still choose to drive be sure to get an Hotel with its own car park, since parking is at a premium in Lourdes.
