Latin Quarter

I booked the K + K Hotel Cayre in Paris for December. It%26#39;s located in the Latin Quarter in what I think is the 6th arondissement. How are these 2 areas? What is there to do? Are there many good restuarants in this area??

Thanks

This is a really nice hotel in a really great location. You should be very happy there.

The hotel is in the 6th - Latin quarter is in the 5th.

BTW for those who do not know latin quarter is near the Sorbonne, called like this because way back when classes were taught in latin.

St Germain, more artistic than studious, not as young is in the 6th.

Also more expensive in terms of real estate.

The K+K is in a great location. It%26#39;s easy walking distance to many sites and also close to shopping, dining and metro. We enjoyed Chez l%26#39;Ami Jean. It%26#39;s not too far from your hotel (a decent walk). What kind of food do you like, what%26#39;s your budget and what activities are you interested in? There%26#39;s something for everyone in Paris...
