Using appliances overseas

If I have a dual voltage appliance (ie hair) and use a plug converter, will I be able to use it safely????

Yes, but it will have a switch to go between the two so make sure it%26#39;s set correctly. I have a clothes steamer with dual voltage, and before all hotels started routinely providing hairdryers, I also had a hairdryer with dual voltage. You won%26#39;t have a problem (and cell phones, cameras, laptops, etc., generally have a voltage converter built in so they can accept either one with no switches to change, etc.) You just need the plug adaptor (the kind with two round plugs is for France).

I used my dual voltage hair straightner without incident. Just used a plug adapter.

Thanks for your help!! One less thing to worry about. Much appreciated.!
