Thalys: Penalty for throwing away return trip ticket?

I noticed that it%26#39;s cheaper to buy a Smilys round trip, than to by a one way. Does anyone know if there is a penalty for not using the return trip if I buy a round trip ticket?

I%26#39;m asking this because this is the same for airfare purchases in the US. If you buys a round trip it will be cheaper than a 1-way, but if you don%26#39;t use the return trip, the airline will charge you extra money.

Nope...no non-use penalty for discarded return tickets.

Thanks! One more question. I have already purchases the 1-way full fare tickets, so I can still buy the Smilys round trip and return the 1-way full fare that I previously purchased right?

Anyone know what the return process is like?

If you bought it on a refundable basis, which I assume full fare would be, it shouldn%26#39;t be a problem. The web site should have instructions - if not, there may be anumber you can call (just tell them your plans changed and you don%26#39;t yet know whether/when you will be traveling but know it won%26#39;t be that date so you want a refund rather than just to change the ticket).
