Hello,
My wife and her Mother are travelling to Nice from London in July and they are looking at staying at this hostel - Chez Brigitte. I can%26#39;t find many reviews and was hoping someone could tell me about the place and its location.
It would appear its near the railway and I%26#39;m a bit concerned it may not be in the best area.
Hope you can help.

On www.hostelz.com. under guesthouse there is a bit of information on Chez Brigitte. Yes it is near the railway station, which is not the best area especially at night! I have walked around there during the day and I would not like to stay there. Nearer the Old Town would be better where you are in walking distance of everything, promenade, restaurants, etc...

This guesthouse is brilliant. it might be near the station but its far enough away to be absolutely fine. its a 15-20 min walk to the old town n beach and in a residential area with all the local shops you wouild expect, especially a fantastic boulangerie just steps away. the other ideal thing is that its a few mins away from the station and so it%26#39;s ideal for when you want to do a day trip. inside is spotless and the rooms are large enough and nicely decorated. You definitely feel safe being in a residential appartment block. I love this place!!
